This post marks the beginning of a series documenting all of Margot’s event fashion in 2018. Pretty much all of these ID’s/posts were on the original blog, however now that I am moving everything over to the website, I figured it was finally time to start posting.
Margot’s first event of 2018 (8th January) was the attendance of the Golden Globes where she was nominated as Actress for Best Performance in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in ‘I, Tonya’.
The theme of the Golden Globes in 2018 was overall different as, in support of the movement Time’s Up, attendees were requested to wear Black. Of course the fashion was allowed to be elaborate as well.
Styled By: Kate Young
Makeup: Pati Dubroff
Hair: Bryce Scarlett
For the event, Margot wore a custom Black Satin Gucci gown that featured a crystal bow and 3D floral embroidery. According to Kate, the dress was originally a different colour but was changed to Black in support of Time’s Up. The dress itself was eventually auctioned on eBay by the Time’s Up movement and the winning bid was for $8,700.00! You can still find the original listing here.
For shoes, Margot wore Roger Vivier 100mm Sin Swarovski Logo Satin Sandals. The ones pictured are the Suede version.
In terms of her jewellery, she accessorized with Tiffany & C0 – I have yet to get exact ID images for these yet.
